Feeling the winter chill? Warm up with this seasons hottest fashion show this Saturday at The Asia Society in New York. This show is brought to you by Engendered, the human rights organization that you may remember from the successful iView Film Festival! Designers Manish Arora, Zolaykha Sherzad, Asher Jay, and Amrita Singh will be using their creations to shine a spotlight on gender, sexuality, and religion. Celina Jaitley will be gracing the event as brand ambassador. There will also be celebrity ramp walks by Mira Nair, Vidur Kapur, and Ami Sheth!

Did You Hear about MIAAC

The MIAAC (Mahinda Indo-American Arts Council) Film Festival begins November 11-15!  This year has quite a line up sure to please every film goer!

The festival is taking off with the opening night film of  Todays Special followed by a gala celebration with special guests Sharmila Tagore, Aparna Sen, Shibana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Shyam Benegal, Rahul Bose and Mira Nair. Tahaan will be showcasing as the festivals center piece film followed by an after party featuring Rahul Bose, Nassrat Durani, Sanjay Suri, MTV IGGY and a live concert by ZEROBRIDGE! Just when you thought it could not get any better the festival is closing with The Endless Wait (Antaheen)

Need more? Well there’s even something for my fellow bloggywooders out there! New York starring my favorite person John Abraham will also be show at the festival!
