The Ambiguously Grey Duo

Awards season is underway in Bollyland and our filmy denizens are caught in the grip of statuette fever. The Filmfare ladies in black have already been presented and it comes as no surprise that Taare Zameen Par bagged the most awards.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali, meanwhile, didn’t waste time worrying about Saawariya’s losses. The maestro has found a new calling as an opera director in Paris. The perpetual mama’s boy is also denying reports of an impending marriage to Vaibhavi Merchant. Forget châtelaine, she hasn’t even made fiancée yet.
Another suspect relationship making headlines (again) is that between ageless superstars Amitabh and Rekha. The ambiguously grey duo have arrived at some sort of détente, appearing at the same parties (at the same time!) and Rekha has been spotted out and about with marriage accoutrements perfectly applied. She even says Amitabh is “one of the best things to have happened in her life,” in this revealing interview.
Leaving no doubt about her relationship status is Preity, who calls Bombay Dyeing scion Ness Wadia the “wind beneath her wings“. Once again, Preity proves she has the biggest cojones in Bollywood. Well, second to Rekha, of course.
