Let’s start with Sids socks. Great addition to his wardrobe! The thing about Sid is he may be spoiled, immature, a baccha, everything you don’t want in the guy you end up with but then you look down at his socks and think to yourself really, is he all that bad? He had a big heart, absolutely adorable to look at, and loads of fun to be around. Then the moment came where he realized his passion and became my dream guy. There is nothing more sexy than a guy that does what he loves and does it well.

Aeyshas apartment made me want to move to another city by myself. Ok, I am lying it makes me want to move to Mumbai and be the new girl in the city with my very own column. Very Sex in The City, but tame =) I am totally jealous of her the way I was of Neha in Dostana. I want a cute apartment with birds on the wall! I want a Sid to come home too! I want a cute boss crush! No fair! Something about Aeysha is I liked her journey when it came to Sid. I like how she thought she was so focused on her career and making it on her own, and in the meantime the two got to know each other on a very real level. A way that makes you feel them. They already saw each other in the morning without their teeth brushed, hair all over the place and they got to take care of each other. When Sid was about to leave and she got upset I felt it. The end of the era and that sudden crashing feeling you feel in the depths of your soul when something is about to go away.

And now we have Sids friends. First of all, loved them! The chemistry between Laxmi and Sid was the best. Loved the conversation about how he grew up a little and grew a little apart from his friends. The best part was when Sid could see their battles as well. When he failed out of school the world ended and he wanted everything his friends had at that moment. Then later he can finally see how they have problems in their life as well. It’s funny because there are always moments in your life you wish you had something someone else does and you don’t even realize there is someone looking at you wanting what you are holding in your own hands.
And now for some memorable scenes…..Laxmi playing the drums while Sid and Aeysha sang I could not stop laughing. When Sid painted that foot (was it Aeysha s?) The apartment auntie photo shoot downstairs. Sids mummy, there is nothing like an adorable mummy in a movie. Last but not least when Aeysha cuddled with Sid after the night of drinking. Sigh.
Thank you for this movie Dharma Productions!!!!! I can’t wait to buy it and have it playing in the background of everything I do! Kya Karoon will be the song that in spring I listen to and remember this time of my life. =D
